Is this for people with allergies or specific diets? +
Yes. Free-text allergies and dislikes go straight into the AI prompt — nothing gets included that you've said you can't or won't eat. We support common dietary patterns including vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and most combinations. We're not a substitute for clinical dietetic care for serious conditions like coeliac disease or severe allergies — for those, please work with a registered dietitian.
How accurate are the prices? +
Prices are estimates based on current UK supermarket data, broken down per person per day, weekly, and monthly. We show three tiers (essentials, mid, organic) so you can compare. Actual prices vary by retailer and time — what you see is a realistic ballpark, not a quote.
Can two adults have completely different goals? +
Yes. One of you can be marathon training while the other isn't. Each adult has their own calorie target, their own meals-per-day preference (2, 3, 4, or 5 plus snacks), and their own sports profile. Shopping quantities combine. Meals can be shared or independent.
What if I don't like a meal you've suggested? +
Tap "swap this meal" and four AI-generated alternatives appear within thirty seconds. Pick one and it replaces the original. Swap as many meals as you like before approving the plan. You can also heart meals you love so they're more likely to appear in future plans.
Where does my data live? +
In encrypted EU-region storage, GDPR compliant. Your account is protected with industry-standard authentication. We don't sell data. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. Your account, your household, your business.
I'm a nutritionist — can I use this with clients? +
Meal Plan Pro is built for households, not clinics. There's no audit trail, white-labelling, or multi-client dashboard — by design. If you need those, established practitioner platforms will serve you better. That said, plenty of practitioners recommend us to clients for use between sessions, or for the partner they're not formally treating.
Does it work on my phone? +
Yes. The whole experience is mobile-friendly — including a tappable shopping panel that slides up from the bottom so you can open items one by one without dealing with popup blockers. Works on iPhone Safari, Android Chrome, and everything in between.
